Job summary

Nini Social Care Services CIC is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as an Appropriate or Responsible Adult in the United Kingdom. The role involves supporting young people or vulnerable adults during legal processes, ensuring their rights and welfare are protected.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals.
• Ability to mentor and support individuals through legal processes.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Carry out appropriate adult call-outs to venues as required.
• Support and assist a child under 18 or vulnerable adults through custody processes and meetings.
• Ensure rights, health, welfare and access to solicitor are observed.
• Help communicate between the client and professionals.
• Review custody records and address concerns raised by clients or professionals.
• Complete the appropriate adult report form and return to the duty officer within 24 hours.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of information.
• Attend training and 1-1 sessions as required.
• Actively safeguard and promote welfare of the client.
• Treat all individuals fairly, without discrimination.
• Report concerns to the manager.
