Job summary

Heathfield House is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist individuals in assisted living and home care settings. You will provide essential care, support independence and ensure a safe, dignified environment for clients, including those with dementia.

Key tasks include personal care, domestic and social duties, attending training, and working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centered support.

Qualifications

• Excellent person-centred skills.
• Strong communication abilities at all levels.
• Good time-management and organisational skills.
• Team player with the ability to motivate others.
• Self-starter capable of prioritising tasks.

Responsibilities

• Attend induction and mandatory training to meet customer’s needs.
• Provide personal, domestic and social care as defined in individual support plans.
• Promote independence and dignity while supporting service users.
• Escalate emergencies and report changes to the Registered Manager.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
• Attend team meetings, reviews and supervision as required.
• Comply with company policies and codes of practice.
