Job summary

Royal Mencap Society in Pembrokeshire is seeking Relief Female Support Workers to join our dedicated team. You will support individuals with learning disabilities with daily activities, companionship and emotional encouragement, in a 24-hour care setting.

Applicants must have a genuine passion for helping others, excellent communication, and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for supporting others.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be a driver with a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities and provide emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities.
• Support 24/7 care services and help maintain routines.
• Rotation planning allows personal and social life with rotas prepared at least 4 weeks in advance.
