Job summary

Lincolnshire Co-op is seeking a Pharmacy Services Assistant to support pharmacists and technicians, prepare and dispense prescriptions, assist customers with healthcare products and health checks, and help maintain stock and records in a busy community pharmacy.

You will build trusted relationships with customers and demonstrate care, accuracy and confidentiality while pursuing ongoing training to grow your knowledge and deliver safe, compassionate care to local communities.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Assistant and/or Dispensing is essential.
• Previous pharmacy experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and dispensing prescriptions under supervision of a Pharmacist, ensuring patient safety.
• Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service and signposting to services.
• Managing stock, receiving shipments and maintaining records.
• Carrying out basic health checks and supporting pharmacy services.
• Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy while continuing training.
