Qualifications

• Non-smoker and free of substance dependency
• Physical and cognitive fitness/strength with good attention span
• Excellent communication including listening and speaking
• Honesty, trustworthy and compassionate
• Punctual and reliable with privacy respect
• Flexible and non-judgemental attitude to hours
• Excellent personal hygiene; masks not routinely required

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and mobility assistance as needed
• Assist with housework, ironing, cleaning and meal preparation
• Support travel, shopping and outings as required
• Engage in activities to promote wellbeing and independence
• Adapt to changing hours, including overnight shifts
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Support the individual in medical or physiotherapy-related tasks as needed
