Job summary

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking a compassionate personal assistant to support a lady in her home and community. The role covers seven days to help with meal preparation and general household chores, enabling her to manage parenting responsibilities and enjoy daily life.

Applicants should be patient, adaptable, and comfortable around children. A driving licence is preferred for community activities. DBS checks will be required, with costs covered by the local authority.

Qualifications

• Experience with daily living tasks is required.
• Must be patient, adaptable and understanding of fluctuating health.
• Driver's licence is preferred for activities outside the home.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal assistance with meals and general household tasks.
• Support across 7 days as needed to enable independent living.
• Assist with community activities and transport where required.
