Job summary

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a lady in Wilberfoss, Tue–Fri with some flexibility for appointments. You will help with meals, housekeeping, admin tasks, and transportation to appointments to maintain independence.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle. DBS/reference checks will be required; prior care or PA experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and assist with general kitchen tasks.
• Carry out household duties including hoovering, cleaning, laundry, ironing, and changing bed linen.
• Support with administrative tasks such as making appointments, handling calls, and completing forms.
• Provide transport for weekly food shopping and attending appointments (hairdresser, dentist, GP).
• Maintain an organised and comfortable home environment.
