Job summary

Disability North is seeking a dedicated PA to provide 2:1 support for our son in a family home setting. You will work as part of a small team to enable him to live independently, access activities, and monitor his health needs with compassion and patience.

Experience with complex learning difficulties and health conditions is helpful. Training will be provided where needed, and a driving licence with the ability to drive an automatic WAV is desirable for most shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for someone with autism or complex health needs is helpful.
• Willingness to work in a family environment with patience and empathy.
• Further training will be provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support to help our son live independently.
• Monitor health needs, assist with PEG feeding, and respond to health changes.
• Work as part of a PA team and family to ensure consistent care.
