Job summary

UKCIL Ltd in Bristol is seeking a compassionate Personal Assistant to support a woman living independently. The role involves practical and social help to enable her to stay independent, with 20 guaranteed hours per week and flexible start times.

You'll assist with personal care, light household tasks, shopping and meal prep, transport to appointments and activities, accompany outings, and provide encouragement and companionship. DBS check may be required and driving is preferred.

Qualifications

• Female applicant is required due to personal care duties.
• Full UK driving licence and confident driver.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS check if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care when required (washing/dressing).
• Assist with light household tasks (laundry, cleaning).
• Shop and help with meal preparation.
• Drive to appointments and community activities.
• Accompany on outings and hobbies, supporting independence.
• Support physiotherapy exercises where appropriate.
• Offer companionship and practical support to stay independent.
