Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Health Care Assistant to join the Surgical Day Case Unit on a part-time basis. You will support patients throughout their surgical journey, ensuring comfort, safety and wellbeing under a registered nurse's guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Multi-Disciplinary Team: deliver delegated care to patients undergoing Day Case Surgery, alongside doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse to ensure comfort and wellbeing.
• Assist with personal care while maintaining patient dignity.
• Support health promotion and discharge advice to empower patients on leaving the unit.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department environment to uphold hygiene and safety.
• Be flexible to varying tasks to support the department's diverse needs.
