Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) at the Hospital of St Cross & University Hospital Coventry. The role is band 2 with a salary of £25,272 plus enhancements.

Post holders will join a team delivering high-quality patient-centred care and will work across a range of shift patterns, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Substantive staff only.

Qualifications

• You must have either a Level 2 BTEC Diploma or extended Diploma or equivalent qualification or have previous care experience or experience in a person-centred & public facing role.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Registered Nursing staff in the delivery of personal care and assistance for patients.
• Support across a range of shift patterns, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays where appropriate.
• Attend induction and mandatory training including Time to Care programme and Care Certificate Qualification.
