Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a part-time Cleaner at a disability services site in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The role involves delivering a personalised cleaning service, keeping communal areas tidy and safe, and using equipment responsibly. You will support stock control and must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or domestic duties is helpful but not essential
• Caring, approachable and compassionate attitude
• Enthusiastic and flexible approach
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality and Catering or willingness to work towards it

Responsibilities

• Provide a personalised cleaning service that meets customers' needs
• Keep communal and service areas clean, comfortable and safe
• Use housekeeping equipment responsibly and maintain standards
• Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies when needed

• All roles require safeguarding and pre-employment checks including criminal records and overseas police checks if needed
