Job summary

Blue Sky Brokers is seeking a friendly Personal Assistant to support a 19-year-old wheelchair user living with a busy household of pets. The role requires empathy for disability, neurodiversity, and LGBTQ+ experiences, and a genuine love of animals.

You will help with community access, leisure activities, dog walking, and domestic support, fostering independence and wellbeing while maintaining a positive, respectful atmosphere. DBS checking is required or funded.

Qualifications

• Be kind, patient, and respectful.
• Have an understanding of, or willingness to learn about, disability, neurodiversity, and LGBTQ+ experiences.
• Be confident supporting a young person to access their community.
• Be reliable, flexible, and trustworthy.
• Love animals and be comfortable around dogs (essential).
• Ideally be aged 23-35 to support shared interests and compatibility.
