Blue Sky Brokers is seeking two compassionate Personal Assistants to support a 20-year-old wheelchair user in NG10. The role focuses on enabling independence, daily routines, and community activities.

You will provide personal care, use a hoist for transfers, assist with PEG feeding and medications, prepare meals, and drive a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for outings to parks, hydrotherapy, bowling, and the zoo. 12+ hours weekly, driving licence essential.

Formación

• Driving licence essential.
• Experience with personal care and community support preferred.
• Comfort with hoist transfers and PEG feeding is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting personal care, including showering and teeth brushing.
• Using a hoist to assist transfers, including getting into profiling bed.
• Supporting with PEG feeding and administering medication.
• Preparing meals and drinks, and assisting with dining.
• Driving in wheelchair-accessible vehicle for outings and activities.
• Assisting to access parks, hydrotherapy pool, bowling and zoo.
• Supporting sensory activities and relaxation in the home sensory room.
• Ensuring safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Carrying out light household duties as required.
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
