Qualifications

• A valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in elderly care or nursing homes is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents, relatives and professionals.
• Ability to lead a team and support colleagues to deliver high-quality care.
• Good IT skills and confident use of electronic care records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care promoting dignity and independence.
• Administer medications and treatments following current clinical guidelines.
• Assess residents, develop and review personalised care plans.
• Monitor health changes and respond promptly to concerns.
• Collaborate with GPs and families to achieve the best outcomes.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to care staff during shifts.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records to a high standard.
