London Ambulance Service NHS Trust is recruiting Ambulance Person for the Non-Emergency Transport Service (NETS), mainly in the North West sector at Kenton Ambulance station. You will transport non-emergency patients to hospital and support patient journeys.

You must hold a full UK driving licence with minimal points, demonstrate empathy, and communicate clearly. Training will cover basic medical care, and a DBS check is required.

Competenze

• Full British driving licence with no more than three penalty points.
• Maths and English GCSEs.
• Good general level of education.
• Experience dealing with the public.
• Experience with the elderly or infirm in care roles.
• Good spoken and written communication; able to complete journey paperwork.
• Familiarity with driving in and around London.
• Empathetic approach with patients.

Mansioni

• Transport non-emergency patients to health care facilities.
• Work a seven-day rotating shift; hours 7am to midnight with potential extension.
• Be based at one of six London locations (Becontree, Bermondsey, Orpington, New Malden, Kenton, Camden).
• Complete journey documentation accurately and legibly.
• Adhere to LAS values and behaviours; DBS check as required.
