Job summary

Cygnet Nield House in Crewe seeks a confident Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care. This full-time role is 42 hours per week across a mixed 12-hour shift pattern (day and night), located at a specialist women’s mental health hospital.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to recovery, empowerment and wellbeing. Ideal candidates have care experience or transferable skills from people-focused roles.

Qualifications

• Experience or transferable skills from people-focused roles are valued.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a mental health setting.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced, person-centred care.
• Provide physical and emotional support to service users.
• Build professional, trusting relationships with residents.
• Understand individual needs and respond appropriately.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs.
• Report medical and welfare concerns as required.
• Support safeguarding and maintain professional boundaries.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
