Job summary

Cygnet Kenney House in Oldham is seeking a confident Mental Health Support Worker to deliver outstanding care across 42 hours weekly (days, nights and weekends). You will support women with mental health needs across three wards in a hospital setting, collaborating with NHS partners to provide treatment closer to home.

Applicants should have a minimum of 6 months mental health experience and be prepared for an enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• 6 months minimum Mental Health experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all residents.
• Offer guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and maintain a safe environment.
