Job summary

Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall is seeking a compassionate Live-in Care Assistant to provide one-to-one support to a young gentleman in his own home near St Erth. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals and medications, and help him enjoy activities with friends and outings.

The role offers £130 per day plus accommodation and a food allowance, with full induction, ongoing training, uniform, PPE and 24/7 on-call support.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience (essential).
• Full UK driving licence to drive the customer's adapted van.
• Confident giving personal care and following a care plan.
• Kind, calm and dependable, with good communication skills.
• Flexible to work some unsocial hours for social activities.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to a young gentleman in his own home near St Erth.
• Support personal care, moving and positioning, meals and medications; keep the home clean.
• Drive the customer's adapted van to appointments, social activities and days out.
