Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and care in our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes in Sheffield. You will wash, dry, iron, repair and manage linen stocks, ensuring residents’ clothing is returned in excellent condition.

Training is provided and time-management skills are essential. You will communicate kindly with residents and co-workers, paying attention to safeguarding and reporting any concerns.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, iron and repair items in the laundry to a high standard.
• Maintain linen stocks and logistics for day-to-day use.
• Sort, fold and redistribute clothing to rooms with care and respect.
• Create a well-maintained, welcoming environment for residents.
