HC-One is seeking a friendly Laundry Assistant to support our care homes with washing, drying and caring for residents' clothing. You will manage linen stocks, re-distribute items to rooms, and help keep areas tidy with a focus on kindness and patient service.

The role invites training, values strong time management and communication, and requires safeguarding awareness to ensure residents’ safety and comfort in a warm, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred; training provided.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Brilliant communicator who listens and gives clear instructions.
• Safeguarding training is required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, iron and repair items in the laundry.
• Maintain linen stocks for day-to-day use and re-distribute as needed.
• Sort and prepare linen/clothes for rooms with care and efficiency.
• Ensure the laundry area is clean, well-organised and safe.
