Job summary

HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to support our care homes across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist settings. You will help keep bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas clean and safe, following schedules and using products safely with attention to infection control.

A positive attitude and respectful interactions with Residents and staff are essential. Full training is provided; being organised and detail‑oriented will help you thrive in a pace‑based environment where

Qualifications

• Some housekeeping experience is helpful but full training is provided.
• Be organised, manage time well, and work with attention to detail.
• Respectful communication with Residents, visitors and team.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
• Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
• Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
• Supporting infection control and safety standards
• Helping with laundry and linen care
• Reporting any issues or repairs as needed
