Job summary

Buckland Care is seeking an experienced Kitchen Assistant to join the Kingland House kitchen in Poole, working with the Kitchen Manager and cooks to prepare nutritious, inviting meals for residents.

You will enjoy interacting with the elderly, support daily meal service, and help ensure all health and hygiene regulations are followed at all times.

This on-site role requires a good command of English, a friendly team spirit, and a willingness to learn and grow within the care home environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality/catering is beneficial.
• Willing to learn and be trained.
• Good level of English.
• A good team worker.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the kitchen team under the instruction of the kitchen manager and the cook.
• Create inspiring mealtimes for Residents at the home catering to all preferences and dietary requirements.
• Adhere to all regulations for food health and hygiene at all times.
