Job summary

St Philip's Care is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the Cook at Ravendale Hall Care Centre. You will help prepare and serve meals, keep dining areas ready for service, and ensure high hygiene standards are maintained across kitchen operations.

You will participate in mandatory training, adhere to COSHH guidelines, and contribute to a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or catering environment preferred.
• Ability to prepare and serve meals and beverages.
• Maintain high hygiene standards.
• Work with Cook and Care Centre Manager.
• Attend mandatory in-house training.
• Understand COSHH guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and serving of meals and beverages.
• Prepare the dining room for serving of meals.
• Clear tables and wash/dry crockery.
• Work in accordance with home policies.
• Carry out kitchen duties maintaining hygiene at all times.
