Avante Care & Support Ltd. is seeking a Kitchen Assistant at Northbourne Court in Sidcup to support meal preparation and service for residents in a caring home environment.

Qualifications

• Environmental Health Certificate in Food Hygiene is essential.
• City & Guilds qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prep fresh ingredients – fruits, vegetables, and more.
• Assist with meal preparation and support our Cook/Head Chef.
• Serve meals and ensure mealtimes are enjoyable for residents.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, safe, and hygienic.
• Follow food hygiene, safety, and nutritional standards every day.
• Help plan menus with input from residents.
• Ensure high standards of care in line with Avante’s Eden Alternative Philosophy.
