Avery Healthcare Group is recruiting a thoughtful Housekeeping Assistant for Scholars Mews Care Home in Stratford-upon-Avon. You will join a team dedicated to maintaining high cleanliness and laundry standards while respecting residents’ dignity and privacy.

Role focuses on adhering to housekeeping procedures, supporting a caring environment, and ensuring hotel-style service levels across the home. This position requires flexibility and reliability within a supportive care team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
• Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of high-quality housekeeping/laundry service to residents.
• The ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained.
• Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
