Cornerstone Healthcare Group is seeking a compassionate Housekeeping Assistant for South Africa Lodge, a 99-bed care home delivering specialist care.

You will maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents, including communal areas and bedrooms, with training on health and safety and emphasis on respect and dignity.

We offer a stable pattern: 10-hour shifts across 35 hours per week, enhanced pay for overtime, refer-a-friend scheme, pension, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months housekeeping experience in a care setting.
• A passion for maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation.
• Friendly, proactive approach with ability to build relationships with residents and families.
• Confident written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Create a clean, welcoming environment for residents.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the home.
• Clean communal areas and residents' rooms – vacuuming, polishing, mopping.
• Receive training on health and safety protocols.
• Ensure housekeeping supplies are clean, stocked and ready for use.
• Provide a warm, respectful presence to residents throughout shifts.
