Job summary

HC-One is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our friendly care homes in Morpeth. You’ll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents across Dementia, Nursing, and Residential settings.

Full training is provided, and kindness, organisation and attention to detail are valued in every task. You’ll follow cleaning schedules, handle laundry, report repairs, and support infection control while maintaining high standards of hygiene and resident dignity.

Qualifications

• Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided.
• Be organised, manage your time well, and work with attention to detail.
• Kind and respectful in every conversation with Residents, visitors, and team.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
• Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
• Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
• Supporting infection control and safety standards
• Helping with laundry and linen care
• Reporting any issues or repairs as needed
