Job summary

You will communicate professionally with patients and staff, assist transfers, manage equipment and supplies, and follow infection prevention guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients within the hospital site in line with Trust policies and procedures
• Assist outside agencies with the transfer of deceased patients
• Use of radios for communication with other members of the Portering team
• Use of a department portering computer system
