Job summary

The Care Bureau in Brackley and surrounding areas is seeking a Domiciliary Care Worker. You'll help people live independently at home, staying for chats and providing practical support to maintain comfort and dignity.

No experience? No problem — full training is provided, and you’ll be supported by a team that values compassion and reliability. Flexible hours between 6:30am and 10:30pm help you fit care around your life.

Qualifications

• A caring, patient and reliable nature.
• Good communication skills.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (required for getting between visits).
• Willingness to learn — full training provided, so previous care experience isn't essential.
• A DBS check will be required (cost covered).

Responsibilities

• Helping someone get washed, dressed and ready to start their day.
• Making a cuppa and breakfast, and staying for a chat.
• Popping to the shops or picking up a prescription.
• Giving someone a hand with their medication.
• Light housework, laundry or bed-making.
• Providing companionship and a friendly face.
