Job summary

Prestige Nursing and Care Ashby is seeking a Support Worker to provide care and support for an individual in her own home. You will assist with personal care, daily activities, and social engagement, while helping her access the wider community.

The role requires a driver and involves shift patterns from 07:00 to 20:30 with two carers, plus a 21:00–07:00 sleep-in that is paid at NMW; training is provided in Ashby. DBS checks and safeguarding are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for people with Learning Disabilities/Autism is preferred.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship) is required.
• Driving license is essential for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care tasks (toileting, dressing, showering) and assist with medications.
• Support with shopping, meal preparation and domestic tasks.
• Offer emotional and social support, befriending, and helping with community activities.
