Job summary
Whitehills Care Ltd is seeking a Domiciliary Care Support Worker to deliver compassionate, person-centered care in service users’ own homes in Walton-on-Thames. You will support with personal care, medication administration, and maintain records using mobile tech. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
Location is Walton-on-Thames, KT12 1RZ, with full-time, on-site shifts. Full training, Care Certificate qualification, and ongoing supervision are provided to support
Qualifications
- Experience in care is desirable but not essential
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred care to service users in their own homes
- Assist with personal care tasks including washing, dressing and toileting
- Support with medication administration under supervision
- Complete accurate care documentation including daily care notes
- Identify and report changes in service users' health
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
- Maintain service users' homes in a clean and tidy condition
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping tasks
- Use mobile technology for care recording and shift management
