Job summary

London Care is hiring Care Professionals to support our Basildon and surrounding areas, with additional opportunities in Harlow. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, person-centred homecare to help adults live independently at home.

We offer training, flexible day/evening shifts, and progression within a close-knit team. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, with visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Hold at least 6 months of social care experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence required for the role.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a team.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity and respect (bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Assist with medication preparation and administration.
• Support mobility and use of aids safely.
• Prepare meals and snacks; offer mealtime support.
• Perform light domestic tasks (laundry, beds, cleaning).
• Offer companionship and build relationships with clients.
• Encourage social engagement and family connections.
• Monitor health and report changes to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate care documentation.
• Respond to emergencies safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with families and wider care team.
