Job summary

Advance Health Care UK Ltd. is seeking care professionals to support a young client at home and in the community in South Shields. The role involves mobility assistance, medication support, PEG feeding and catheter care in a family setting.

Training will be provided, and candidates should be comfortable handling challenging behaviours and communicating effectively with family and carers. Shifts include nights and weekend days to cover care needs.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with challenging behaviours is desired.
• Experience of supporting a young paediatric client is desired.
• Experience with PEG feeds and catheter care is desired.

Responsibilities

• Support client at home and in the community with mobility, medications, PEG feeding and catheter care.
• You will receive training to help the client live as independently as possible.
• Good communication is required as the client may exhibit challenging behaviours.
