Job summary

Candlelight Care in Sherborne is seeking enthusiastic, caring individuals to join our family‑run team to support vulnerable adults in their own homes across Sherborne and surrounding areas.

We offer both full-time and part-time roles with typical shifts 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm, plus alternate weekends; driving is not always essential depending on location. We provide full training, mileage, company smartphone, pension and more.

Qualifications

• Kind, empathetic and genuinely motivated to help others.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Calm, patient and able to handle challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (washing, toileting, dressing).
• Assist with domestic tasks and meal preparation.
• Support clients with medication and mobility aids as required.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes to the Registered Manager.
• Encourage independence while safeguarding wellbeing.
