Job summary

Anglian Care is seeking a Care Assistant to support adults in their own homes across Basildon and surrounding areas. You will help with practical, physical, emotional and social support, including personal care and daily tasks, with full training provided.

We offer daytime, evening and weekend shifts, paid mileage, DBS clearance, and a clear path for career development in a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

No experience necessary: We provide full training, so whether you're new to care or have years of experience, we're looking for people who are kind, caring, and committed to improving the lives of vulnerable adults.
Driving license: You must have a UK driving license and your own car with business insurance.
Flexibility: You should be comfortable to work a mixture of daytimes, evenings, and alternate weekends.
Kindness and compassion: A caring and supportive individual who is passionate about providing a high-level care and support to vulnerable people.
Communication skills: You must be able to build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

Care for adults in their own homes to provide practical, physical, emotional, and social support to service users.
Assist with personal care tasks such as food and fluids, toileting, and bathing.
Assist with medication and domestic duties while maintaining dignity and respect.
