Job summary

Guild Care is hiring Community Care Assistants to support older adults in their own homes around Worthing. You will deliver personal care, help with daily tasks, and promote well-being while maintaining detailed records and clear communication with families and the Homecare Office.

Training is provided, with opportunities to progress to NVQ Level 2 in care and the Care Certificate for CQC registration. A compassionate, professional approach is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, dressing, meal preparation, and daily routines to clients.
• Support medication administration and keep accurate records and care plans.
• Share updates with families and Homecare Office to ensure consistent high-quality care.
• Uphold Guild Care policies, maintain hygiene standards, and attend training and supervision.
