Phoenix Homecare and Support is seeking Home Care Assistants to visit clients in their own homes across Wrexham and surrounding areas. You will provide personal care, daily living support, meal preparation, shopping help and companionship to keep clients safe, comfortable and independent.

Full training will be provided, and previous care experience is welcome but not essential. This hands-on role involves travel between client homes and building trusting relationships with individuals and

Qualifications

• Be aged 18 or over
• Have the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Be kind, patient and respectful
• Be reliable and able to work as part of a team
• Be comfortable providing personal care
• Be able to travel between clients’ homes across Wrexham town, Acton, Borras, Gwersyllt, Brymbo, Llay, Rhos, Cefn Mawr, Ruabon, Johnstown, Chirk
• A UK driving licence and access to a car are preferred due to the nature and location of the role

Responsabilités

• Visiting clients in their own homes and providing support based on individual needs
• Assisting with washing, showering, dressing and personal hygiene
• Preparing meals, snacks and drinks; helping with shopping and appointments
• Reminding and assisting with medication per care plan
• Light cleaning, laundry and helping maintain a safe home
• Providing companionship and social engagement to reduce loneliness
