Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare, Inc. is recruiting a Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes across Truro and surrounding areas. You’ll provide companionship, assist with daily living tasks, and help clients feel safe and supported, with full training provided.

No prior care experience is required, but kindness and reliability are essential. A driving licence and access to a vehicle enable travel between clients, with flexible shift patterns to fit your lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.
• Right to Work in the UK is essential to be able to work in this role.
• Kindness, reliability and a genuine desire to help others are valued above prior care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care tasks and daily living activities.
• Assist with mobility to help customers stay safe and independent.
• Oversee and support medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks and meal preparation as needed.
• Run errands such as shopping and prescription collection.
• Offer calm, respectful support that makes customers feel cared for.
