Job summary

Supporting Hands NE Limited - Residential is hiring care professionals to deliver safe, person-centred support in clients' homes and the community in Middlesbrough.

The role involves assisting with daily living, monitoring wellbeing, and coordinating with families and healthcare professionals to promote dignity and independence, with flexible hours as required. You will also observe medication administration as needed and maintain clear records.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care including personal care, mobility, nutrition, hydration and domestic tasks.
• Support individuals to develop independence and access social, leisure and community activities.
• Administer or assist with medication when trained and assessed as competent.
• Provide emotional support, reassurance and companionship.
• Monitor and report changes in health, wellbeing, behaviour or risk.
• Maintain accurate care records, including care notes and MARs.
• Follow safeguarding, infection control and other company policies.
• Attend required training, supervision and team meetings.
• Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays where required.
