Job summary
Helping Hands in Huddersfield is seeking a Care Assistant to join a flexible team dedicated to delivering extraordinary home care. You’ll provide companionship, assist with personal care, mobility, and daily tasks, helping clients live independently in their own homes.
No prior care experience is required; training is provided. A driving licence and access to your own vehicle are beneficial for reaching clients. Benefits include mileage payments, early pay, pension, and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities
- Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
- Assist with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing, toileting).
- Aid mobility to help customers stay safe and confident.
- Oversee and administer medications per care plans.
- Help with household tasks such as cleaning and meal preparation.
- Run essential errands (shopping, prescriptions).
- Offer calm, considerate support that shows genuine care.
