Job summary

Delta Care Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking Home Care Assistants to join a dedicated team. You will support service users with daily living tasks, personal care, meal preparation, and mobility assistance, following individualized care plans.

The role offers competitive pay: Monday-Friday £8.35 + 32p per hour, weekends £8.58 + 32p per hour, plus a performance bonus of 0.32 per hour. Mileage and a health care scheme, flexible hours, and Full Care Certificate training are provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with getting up in the morning, washing/bathing and dressing.
• Help with meals, drinks and snacks and ensure kitchen hygiene.
• Provide assistance with toileting and changing clothes/bedding as required.
• Assist with daily living tasks including cleaning, shopping, and collecting pensions.
• Record information on a care sheet and report changes to the manager.
• Encourage independence and meaningful activity for service users.
• Follow Delta Care Ltd Health and Safety policies and infection control guidelines.
• Log in/out of service users' homes and monitor safety.
• Complete medication record sheets and care plans as needed.
