Job summary

ICare Group is seeking a dedicated Home Care Assistant (Driver Required) to support clients in Sefton. The role involves delivering compassionate in-home care, personal support and daily living assistance across local communities.

We offer flexible hours from 7am–10pm, training, and development, plus mileage and bonuses. Driving is essential, with a focus on safeguarding independence and dignity for clients at home.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
• Willing to travel throughout the Sefton area.
• Be prepared to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.
• Previous care experience is welcome but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Assist with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Aid with meals and nutrition.
• Provide medication prompts in line with care plans.
• Carry out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Support light household tasks to maintain a comfortable home.
