Millennium Staffing Ltd is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to provide high-quality care in care homes and healthcare settings. You will support residents with personal care, meals, mobility and activities, following care plans and company policies.

Ideal candidates are patient, reliable and able to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays, with a focus on dignity and wellbeing for residents.

Formación

• Caring, compassionate and patient approach to supporting vulnerable individuals.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions, care plans, risk assessments and workplace policies.
• Flexibility to work day shifts, night shifts, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Support mobility, repositioning and transfers following safe procedures
• Assist with meals and hydration per dietary requirements
• Provide emotional support, companionship and reassurance to residents
• Observe residents’ condition and report changes to nurse or senior staff
• Maintain accurate care records and complete documentation
• Follow care plans and risk assessments for consistent care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment with infection prevention and health and safety procedures
• Encourage participation in social and recreational activities
• Report accidents, safeguarding concerns and abuse to senior staff
• Collaborate with nurses and care home staff to ensure care delivery
• Maintain confidentiality and data protection compliance
• Attend mandatory training and supervision sessions
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality and professional conduct
