Job summary

Nurses UK is actively seeking Healthcare Assistants to support patients in a flexible, community-based environment. You will assist with personal care, mobility, feeding, and monitoring patient conditions while maintaining a clean, safe care area and offering emotional support.

Experience as an HCA is preferred; strong communication and empathy are essential. Shifts include days, evenings, weekends, and full- or part-time options with supportive training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or similar healthcare role preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings.
• Empathetic, patient-focused approach to care.
• Basic healthcare training or certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care activities including hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Support patients with feeding and nutritional needs.
• Observe and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient care areas.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
