Job summary

The Healthcare Assistant will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team within an acute general medicine ward, providing high-quality, compassionate and person-centred care to patients. The post holder will support patients with their personal care needs and activities of daily living, promoting dignity, privacy, independence and wellbeing at all times.

Qualifications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate and person-centred care to patients on an acute general medicine ward.
• Support patients with personal care needs and activities of daily living, including washing, dressing, nutrition, hydration and mobility.
• Collaborate with registered nurses and multidisciplinary team to assess, deliver and evaluate patient care.
