Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Health Care Assistant for Fairburn Mews care home in Castleford. You will support adults with complex care needs, helping with personal care, meals and daily activities, while upholding dignity and independence.

This full-time role is 42 hours per week, with a rate of £13.81 per hour on completion of the Care Certificate, offering rewarding work and progression opportunities within Exemplar Health Care.

Responsibilities

• supporting people with their personal care
• assisting people at meal times
• understanding individual health and wellbeing needs
• encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home
• promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect
• completing and maintaining care records
