Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Healthcare Assistant on a 12-month contract to cover long-term sickness at our Thornaby residential home. The post is open to current TEWV employees only and focuses on delivering person-centred care to four residents with learning disabilities and complex health needs.

You will support the Home Manager, complete clinical tasks, monitor wellbeing, liaison with MDT, and uphold safeguarding, privacy and dignity.

Formación

• Diploma in Health and Social Care level 2 or equivalent.
• Care Certificate.
• Literacy and Numeracy level 2.
• Trust's full HCA Framework completed within 6 month probation.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Registered Home Manager in day-to-day running of the home and ensure Trust and CQC requirements are met.
• Complete clinical requirements and tasks as directed by the Home Manager.
• Identify deterioration in physical or mental wellbeing and elevate to relevant services; liaise with Allied Health Professionals and MDT.
