Job summary

Kingswood House at Elysium Healthcare in Thurcroft, Rotherham, is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join a supportive team providing care to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. You will support residents in their recovery pathway, contribute to care plans, and help maintain wellbeing in a compassionate environment.

You’ll undergo a thorough induction and ongoing training, with shifts of 12.5 hours across 3–4 days, including nights and weekends, to ensure continuous care

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• Knowledge of positive behavioural support and handling challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Perform ward rounds, assess behaviours and adapt care with the team.
• Update patient records and provide overall care including personal hygiene support.
