Job summary

People Dynamix is recruiting a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in Macclesfield. You will provide personal and practical care to residents and work with friendly staff to maintain high standards.

We welcome applicants with at least 6 months UK care experience, flexible shifts (8am-3pm, 3pm-10pm), and a commitment to dignity and companionship. Competitive pay and ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Committed to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect.
• Previous experience working within an elderly care setting.
• Team player but able to work on your own initiative.
• Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the home.
• A minimum of 6 months recent UK care experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate compassion, empathy and a person-centred approach to caring for older people.
• Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
• Able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the household.
• Provide assistance, personal care, activities and companionship to residents
• Be alert to residents' needs, health and wellbeing
• Respect the residents' dignity and privacy
• Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual
• Assist with mealtimes and safe moving
• Maintain accurate records for each resident
